HBO’s The Last of Us TV show has been a huge success mainly because of Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. Well, a new actress has been cast to play the controversial character named Abby in Season 2.
An official press release has been released that announces that Kaitlyn Dever has been cast as Abby for Season 2 of The Last of Us. She is a character seeking revenge after her father died at the hands of Joel in the first season’s finale.
This is an interesting casting choice because fans wanted Kaitlyn Dever to actually play Ellie due to her petite size. Now the tiny actress is playing Abby who is taller and muscular in the actual The Last of Us Part II video game.
Due to the recent writers and actor strikes, Season 2 of The Last of Us has been delayed until 2025. Filming for the show should be starting later this year.
