Original Fortnite Map Garners A Record Number Of Players

Last week Epic Games reintroduced the original Fortnite map to all players. It looks like this decision has paid off because the game garnered a record number of players!

The official Fortnite Twitter page announced the good news. You can read the announcement posted down below.

“Way to start things off with a big bang We’re blown away by the response to #FortniteOG. Yesterday was the biggest day in Fortnite’s history with over 44.7 MILLION players jumping in and 102 MILLION hours of play. To all Fortnite players, OG and new, THANK YOU!”

It will be interesting to see how long Epic Games will keep the original map in the game. It seems like the OG map is more popular than the newer maps that have been used.
