If you have played Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 this year, you will know there is one level that you can get to play as Venom. There was a funny glitch at launch that enabled you to free roam New York City as the game’s big villain.
Before you fight Kraven the Hunter, this glitch enabled Venom to escape the level boundary and roam around the city. Many people have uploaded the clip on YouTube for others to enjoy.
Sadly, a new patch has been released for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 that has removed the glitch entirely. Aside from that, many other bug fixes have been made to the game too.
Whether we will see a future Venom game remains to be seen. It looks like Insomniac still has to develop its Wolverine video game before focusing on Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 which will focus heavily on Miles Morales.
