How Long to Beat Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons?

Beat ’em ups are not known for their impressive length. Usually the gameplay driven experiences rely heavily on replay value, or unusual gimmicks. While Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons has various unlocks and optional content, there are still questions about how long the experience actually is. To make it easier we wanted to briefly explore this by explaining how long to beat Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons.

How Long to Beat Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons?

On average a run takes 90 to 120 minutes to complete. This amount will vary depending on skill, difficulty, which ending you pick, and more. While this is not a large amount of time, it takes at least two cycles to see every locations third area, and four cycles to experience every alternate boss.

This alone brings the total play time to roughly 7 hours. However, anyone looking to play with every character will need another three cycles. All of this combined makes a minimum of roughly 12 hours of gameplay. This is pretty good for the genre, and doesn’t even get into leaderboard runs or playing offline with friends.
