PlayStation 5 System Software Version 23.01-07.40.00 Released

PlayStation 5 owners can now download system software version 23.01-07.40.00.

According to the more information page listed with the update it offers improved system software performance/stability, along with better messages and usability with certain screens.

At this time it’s not known if there are unmentioned features, nor is the full system update page live on Sony’s official site.
