HyperX Announces ChargePlay Quad 2 for Nintendo Switch Owners

HyperX announced a revised version of their popular Joy-Con charging device, ChargePlay Quad 2.

According to HyperX, the improved ChargePlay Quad 2 offers better charging time, making it ideal for more active Nintendo Switch households. The device also features a new color to reflect HyperX’s common white/red color scheme.

While likely intentional, this gives the charger the unmistakable look of a Pokeball. Especially since it retains the same circular LED indicator in the middle of the device.

HyperX Global Category Manager – Cloud and Console Gaming, Aurelius Martinez, offered the follow insight into this product.

HyperX continues to enhance its range of console accessories to provide better gaming experiences for players across different platforms.
