It wouldn’t be a Soulslike game without a main story duo boss fight, and Yan Liang is that fight for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The two bosses make up the two annoying styles of play. One uses powerful ranged attacks, with the other being really fast. These two can be really annoying if you go about them the wrong way.
Before you go crazy, the flags are separated into different sections on this map. This part has three of each, so if you have those you’re done with this section.
There is also a Dragon Vein Essence at the top of one of the ridges towards the middle of the level. Make sure to grab that before this fight.
Despite looking really hard, both bosses gain spirit damage really fast. This makes it really easy to kill one, focus on the other, and win the fight.
The best tactic is to focus on Yan Liang (the crawling one) before fighting Wen Chou. Not only is Wen Chou harder to damage, you’ll likely take more damage focusing on him first.
While they have critical hits, including a cool move where Wen Chou tosses Yan Liang at you, the best tactic is to just burn them down. If you’re not fast enough, Wen Chou will revive Yan Liang. At this point you must kill Yan Liang quickly due to the revive increasing its morale to 11.
Once both enemies are dead the level will continue.
