It has now been announced exclusively by Deadline that a Death Stranding movie is now in the works. Hideo Kojima himself will serve as one of the film’s producers.
Kojima Productions has teamed up with Hammerstone Studios with the latter being the financial backer for the movie
It won’t be a straight retelling of the video game as new elements and even new characters will be added to the film. Despite that, the rest of the plot has been kept under wraps.
It will be interesting to see what type of movie Death Stranding will be. After all, the hit 2019 video game didn’t have much action compared to other AAA titles released in recent memory.
