Sony posted a new blog post detailing all the collectibles you can obtain in Nov. 2022, which include some things we already knew and other things we did not.
The biggest reveal is finally detailing how to obtain the PlayStation 3 collectible. Sony explains the requirement as follows:
For PlayStation Stars members who owned PS3 in Clear Black or Ceramic White
PlayStation Blog
Unfortunately, many users, including myself, owned one of those consoles and still did not receive the collectible. After briefly speaking to support, even though the blog post does not mention it, another condition is making an account within PlayStation 3’s first year. This confirms a heavy speculation as to this being the actual condition, though it’s nice to finally know what the requirements were.
In addition to that, two new campaigns were revealed. One is for preordering any software version of God of War Ragnarok from the PlayStation Store or Sony Direct. Unfortunately, this seems to exclude anyone who purchased a physical edition or one of the collector’s editions, which is an unfortunate, but understandable, choice.
Along with God of War Ragnarok, there will be a campaign to celebrate 20 years of Ratchet and Clank. This campaign should be for all and can be unlocked by playing any game when the campaign is live.
Finally, the blog post reveals the already active Nov. 2022 campaigns, but does not mention the special campaign for beating Returnal‘s first boss.
Hopefully we will see more of these that reveal what we can expect in the month going forward.
