It looks like Sony isn’t finished remaking video games for the new PS5 generation. After the release of The Last of Us Part 1 remake, we might be getting a new PS5 version of Horizon Zero Dawn too.
According to a report from MP1ST, a source tells them that a new version of Horizon Zero Dawn is on the way. It’s unsure if this is a total remake, or just a remaster with better visuals yet though.
However, the new version of the game will have “new character models, lighting and animations”. The same source also suggests a separate Horizon multiplayer game might be out in the near future too!
Re-releasing Horizon Zero Dawn this early seems like an odd choice considering the game just came out in 2017. Not to mention the game is already available on PC which has better visuals.
We’ll just have to wait and see if this rumor ends up being true. After all, The Last of Us remake rumors ended up being true!
