Babylon’s Fall Servers to Close in 2023; Final Events Revealed

Following a rough launch, the latest Babylon’s Fall blog post confirms servers will close on Feb. 27, 2023.

This process will begin today with the sale of Garaz, their premium in-game currency, being suspended and sales of both the digital and physical version will end. However, at the time of this post Babylon’s Fall is still available for PlayStation and Steam if you want to experience it or earn trophy/achievements.

Following that, on Nov. 2, premium battle passes will no longer be offered, the current second season ends and the final season will begin with ranking battle Zenon: Very Hard and the event mission 1st Wave being offered. Towards the end of Dec. 2022 there will be some New Years rewards, with Jan. 2023 adding Ereshkigal: Very Hard and the event mission 2nd Wave. Finally, in Feb. 2023, the last event mission, 3rd Wave will be added with a “quest boost.”

Beyond that, the post also confirmed all large-scale updates have been cancelled, but things are not all bad. As a token of appreciation for their fans, they promise to “implement as many events and other initiatives as we can, leading up to the end of the service,” which is a nice send off. They also offered the following words about this decision.

Leading up until today, we received a lot of feedback from all our Sentinels through multiple surveys, official livestreams, our official Discord server and social media channels, which has been a great help to us in the Development and Operations teams. In particular, through our surveys we received a great deal of enthusiastic messages of support alongside keen observations of issues and suggestions for improvement. This really made us feel that we were able to create the world of BABYLON’S FALL together with our players. Despite all of your support, we are truly sad and sorry to say that we will be unable to continue with the game’s service.

We hope you continue to enjoy playing BABYLON’S FALL until the service ends.
