With the success of the Sonic the Hedgehog movies, it looks like even more video game properties are becoming films. The next video game to get a movie adaptation is Pac-Man.
As reported exclusively by The Hollywood Reporter, a live-action Pac-Man movie is in the works. This is the first live-action adaptation of the property as Pac-Man did have an old animated series back in the day.
The film is being made by Bandai Namco and Wayfarer Studios. The movie will be based on an original idea so it won’t be based on any existing stories that might be out there.
That being said, the movie will probably be about Pac-Man and how he has to get rid of the ghosts that continue to chase him. No release date for the film has been announced yet.
