While some players were worried about Sony delivering lower quality games following the PlayStation Plus expansion, this month is easily one of the best we’ve seen in a while.
Headlining the month is Yakuza: Like A Dragon, which is available for both PlayStation 4 and 5. This unlikely title reimagines the series with a new protagonist set in an unusual RPG adventure that is just delightful. In addition to that, if you wanted to experience Kazuma Kiryu’s adventure, Yakuza 0 through Yakuza 6: The Song of Life will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers at no additional cost. This will start with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, along with Yakuza 0 through Yakuza 3 next month, with the remaining titles coming later this year.
If that isn’t exciting enough, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 isn’t just coming to PlayStation Plus, it’s the Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle. Besides obviously including the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, it includes “The Ripper” skater from Powell-Peralta, retro content for Create-A-Skater mode and retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen.
Finally, Little Nightmares offers some early horrors to the line up. The interesting suspenseful puzzle series is quite well liked and had a rather strong sequel release rather recently. Absolutely something to consider if you’re a fan of either genre and want something that is good, but not particularly long.
