While E3 isn’t happening this year, it seems Sony is going to announce new things when their State of Play takes place on June 2, at 3 PM PST/6 PM EST.
Like usual Sony didn’t reveal much about what to expect, but they promise “exciting” reveals from third-party partners and several games for PlayStation VR2.
For those looking for a bit more, I wouldn’t be surprised if Stray‘s release date is revealed. This was uploaded on the backend with a July 19, 2022 date that seems like the perfect time to show/announce that. Notable leaker and Venture Beat writer Jeff Grubb believes this event will Street Fighter 6 will be revealed. This isn’t a total guess on his part, apparently a reveal is set for sometime this summer and it’s supposedly going to be revealed before EVO.
AccountNGT, another notable leaker, also commented on this State of Play, saying this is not the highly anticipated one. Supposedly that one is still set for Sept. 2022.
Whatever the event ends up being, make sure to tune in live or come back here for our coverage of the event.
