PlayStation Plus Games for May 2022 Revealed

While many players eagerly await the PlayStation Plus revamp, Sony announced which titles will be available in May 2022.

Headlining the month, in a rather interesting call, is Fifa 2022. The latest entry in the extremely popular sports franchise will show players all the improvements EA has made over the year(s), along with showing newcomers what to expect. While it’s far from the first sports game we’ve seen Sony offer, it’s arguably one of the biggest, especially with it being available for PlayStation 4 and 5.

Joining it is Tribes of Midgard, a co-op or single player action RPG set in the world of Norse mythology. Tasked with defending the Seed of Yggdrasil, players need to go on an adventure to keep the seed alive while fighting various hostile forces. Like Fifa 2022, it will be available for PlayStation 4 and 5.

Last up is Curse of the Dead Gods and probably my personal favorite for the month. This unusual roguelike is built around choices and sacrifices, both of which can ensure victory or guarantee failure. With a wide variety of bosses, weapons and unlockables, it’s an exciting adventure that is well worth a chance.

All of these will be available on May 2, 2022. Also, as a reminder, players have until May 11 to add Persona 5 to their collection if they haven’t already done so. Thus far nothing has been revealed to take its place, likely meaning there will be no last second reveal.
