PlayStation’s massive 2018 hit, God of War, is about to land on PC and we are finally hearing about the preload options available for pre-orders. Santa Monica Studios took to Twitter to spread the news to excited players looking to experience the expansion of this notable IP beyond PlayStation’s consoles.
Here’s the info directly from the source:
God of War can be preloaded starting January 12th at 8 AM PST. However, prospective buyers should take note that this option is only associated with Steam at this time. There has yet to be any confirmation that Epic Games Store copies will be given the ability to preload Sony’s god-killing epic at the aforementioned time.
We will report back if Santa Monica Studios provides further clarification regarding Epic’s distribution platform. For now, there is little left to do but count down the finite number of days remaining before God of War makes its PC debut.
