Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games Announce Multiple New Titles by Respawn Entertainment

Fans of Star Wars rejoice, Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games announced three new games being made by Respawn Entertainment.

At the time of posting, not much was said about the upcoming games, but the announcement teased a little information about each title.

Game Director Stig Asmussen, best known for his work on God of War, and his team are creating the latest action adventure title in the Star Wars Jedi series. Next is a first-person shooter that Game Director Peter Hirschmann, best known for his work with Dreamworks and LucasArts, which is sure to reflect his long history with the franchise. Finally, Greg Forestch, known for his work on the XCOM series, and the newly formed developer Bit Reactor are working on a strategy based Star Wars game.

Unfortunately no further details were revealed, including platforms, but with some solid names working on one of the most beloved franchises around, it should make for some interesting news in the future.
