As if this month couldn’t get any worse for players, Cold Symmetry confirmed via Twitter players will not get Mortal Shell: Enhanced Edition as part of their monthly PlayStation Plus offerings.
This will likely be disappointing news for some, as this was another topic of debate the past couple of days. Historically, even if the blog post didn’t mention cross-buy functionality, the store typically allowed it. Though recent offerings have not honored such promotions. Given the ever popular Xbox Game Pass includes both versions, players were hopeful this would also be the case.
Still, if you’re looking for a new Soulsborne-esque game, Mortal Shell is absolutely worth giving a go. It might not be as refined or long, it’s absolutely worth trying for free.
