Halo Infinite: How to Get the Yoroi Samurai Armor

Halo Infinite may not officially launch until December 8th, but the multiplayer component has already released as a surprise for fans. While there are numerous customization options awaiting the slew of Spartans readying for battle, there is one particular samurai-themed armor that has already caught everyone’s attention.

Not to be confused with the iconic Hayabusa armor found in past Halo titles, the Yoroi armor has debuted in Halo Infinite as the first samurai-inspired customization. And it can be yours now, if you know what to do.

We will guide you through the necessary steps to unlock this stunning armor core.

Halo Infinite: How to Get the Yoroi Samurai Armor

The Yoroi armor is tied to the Fractures: Tenrai Event, which is now live. This is separate from the Battle Pass, but fortunately it is a 100% free Event Pass. The Tenrai Event takes place across seven separate weeks, which are outlined below.

Week 1: September 18, 2021 – November 7, 2021
Week 2: November 23, 2021 – November 30, 2021
Week 3: January 4, 2022 – January 11, 2022
Week 4: February 1, 2022 – February 8, 2022
Week 5: February 22, 2022 – March 1, 2022
Week 6: March 29, 2022 – April 5, 2022
Week 7: April 19, 2022 – April 26, 2022

During these specific weeks, the Challenges section will show objectives highlighted with a star banner. Completing those challenges will progress the Tenrai Event Pass. The Yoroi armor core sits as the reward for rank 5 on the Event Pass. Given the numerous weeks available to level up a meager five levels, this should be easily attainable for most regardless of work and general life schedules.

Be sure to look ahead in the Tenrai Event Pass, as there are even more sweet looking armor pieces in the later ranks. Specifically, the Yokai legendary helmet at rank 25 is sure to turn heads in multiplayer.

Now that you know what needs to be done, start churning out those event challenges. Even without the allure of the Yoroi armor, Halo Infinite multiplayer is a damn good time.

Halo Infinite multiplayer is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The single player campaign will launch on December 8th on all aforementioned platforms.
