Beginner Tips to Complete Death’s Door

Death’s Door can be rather difficult if approached the wrong way. Enemies can quickly kill you, with some later bosses having an overwhelming amount of power. This can make progressing rather difficult, which is why we wanted to give players some tips to make the experience easier to overcome.

Beginner Tips to Complete Death’s Door

Play Defensively

Most enemies are offensive by nature. They want to see players make mistakes, so it’s in your best interest to wait for them to leave themselves open. After they attack there is often a huge window to deal damage, usually resulting in their death or at least considerable damage.

Use the Bow

It’s extremely common for enemies to either slowly rush or attack you from a distance. As a result, hitting them with the bow is free damage. It might not kill every foe, but four hits is and no damage is better than one hit and some damage taken.

Think About How Zelda Would Do It

The vast majority of puzzles follow the same logic you’d find in The Legend of Zelda. Often times, if the solution alludes you, consider how those games would approach it and you’ll commonly find the solution.

Go Alternate Paths

While it might take a little longer, most side paths have some kind of value behind them. Might be souls that can be used to upgrade your team or potentially more health. Whatever it ends up being, it’s always worth your time and will pay off in the long run.

Remember where doors are

If all else fails, heading back to the door will return health and resources. You’ll have to fight your way back to where you were, though often times there will be shortcuts or you’ll know what to expect. Doing this is much better than losing to a boss or making a careless mistake.
