Today XGIMI announced Aura, their first ultra short-throw projector.
This is an exciting addition to their already strong line up of projectors for a couple key reasons. Not only does it feature a number of things XGIMI is known for, like auto keystone, 12 second fast boot, Harman/Kardon sound and Android TV interface, the new design makes it even easier to step into the world of projectors.
Since this is an ultra short-throw projector, Aura is able to achieve a 100″ 4K HDR image at an impressive 8″ distance from a wall. In addition to that, XGIMI included four 15 watt Harman/Kardon speakers, giving it solid sound performance out of the box. Finally, to make existing set ups easier, Aura boasts three HDMI and three USB ports, giving users a good amount of flexibility in their set up.
Tex Yang, vice president of global sales at XGIMI corporate, noted the following about Aura:
The XGIMI Aura has been created for the home environment with a design that naturally blends into any decor,.
We are seeing the shift in technology that has already impacted every other area of our lives coming to our home entertainment. With the XGIMI Aura, your next TV is not a TV.
