Sold Out and developer Piranha Games announced today that MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will be released for PS5 and PS4 on September 23.
Alongside the release of the PlayStation version, a “Heroes of the Inner Sphere” DLC will be released as well. Additionally, those who will be playing on PS5 will be able to experience adaptive triggers and advanced haptic feedback via the DualSense wireless controller.
Cross-Play will be supported at the launch of the PS5 and PS4 versions. Players regardless if they are playing on Xbox Series, Xbox One and the PC version will be able to play with one another be it PvE or cross-play.
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries finds players in the battlefields of the future, dominated by BattleMechs, hulking machines of war capable of leveling entire cities. As the inheritor of a once-glorious Mercenary company, the quest for glory and revenge will stretch light years, chasing the threads of interstellar intrigue on the journey to become an elite MechWarrior and mercenary commander.
