Recently there have been a number of rumors directed at Sony revisiting old franchises, with the latest coming from Tom Henderson, notable leaker and writer for DualShockers, mentioning simply 2023 and an image from Twisted Metal.
The commonly held belief is this is Henderson teasing Twisted Metal for 2023 release due to his role and previous leaks come from games like Call of Duty, Battlefield and Grand Theft Auto VI.
Another possibility is 2023 is when the Twisted Metal tv series will release. Currently that is confirmed, though a release has not been revealed. However, odds are quite high if Sony is investing in a TV series, there is likely something coming in the future regardless.
