How to Change Appearance in Aliens: Fireteam Elite

The acid blood-filled adventure that is Aliens: Fireteam Elite begins with customizing your own Colonial Marine. Any number of customization options can be mixed and matched to create your desired Xeno-killing soldier. There are numerous faces awaiting your creative input on skin tone, eye color, hairstyle, facial hair, hair color, and voice.

While the character customization on offer isn’t mind-blowing, there is enough variety with which to experiment. And that means you may find yourself second guessing your visual selections after committing to an appearance. Before you consider wiping your Colonial Marine’s existence and starting fresh, there is a way to change their appearance at any point throughout the game.

How to Change Appearance in Aliens: Fireteam Elite

To change your Colonial Marine’s appearance, head to the Loadout screen. In the Appearance category toward the bottom-right, there is an option labeled Change Base Appearance. Click on this option and you will be returned to the same character creation menu you were treated to upon launching the game for the first time.

You will have access to the same set of skin tone, eye color, hairstyle, facial hair, hair color, and voice as well as switching their body archetype. If you find yourself bored of your current character’s looks as you progress through the campaign, you can now do something about it. Give that Colonial Marine a new style to keep them looking fresh no matter how much acid blood has sprayed their skin.

Alien: Fireteam Elite is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
