Rumor: Dead Space Remake is Similar to Resident Evil 2 Remake

Following multiple sources confirming rumblings of Motive working on a Dead Space remake, Jeff Grubb, notable insider and writer for Venture Beat, offered some details on the supposed upcoming title.

Instead of being the typical enhanced port, like Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Grubb directly compared it to Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Instead of just taking an existing foundation that worked, the title will be largely the same, with some quality of life updates found in the sequels. No examples were given, but given the critical success of Dead Space and Resident Evil 2 Remake, this might be worth getting excited for.
