After nearly a decade of nothing, rumors suggest Dead Space might return and will be announced during EA Play Live event on July 22.
This information was revealed by Jeff Grubb, writer for Venture Beat and notable name in the insider community, in a video where he hinted at an established EA IP being revealed during the event and being developed by EA Motive, who recently released Star Wars: Squadrons.
Grubb’s statement, which was basically that people will be happy if they’re not dead first, lead to speculation of the title being Dead Space. Eurogamer mentioned this information matches what they’ve heard, with Gematsu, an extremely popular source for Japanese news, saying they’ve heard it’s Dead Space.
With the event roughly a month away, we will see if these rumors are true or if it’s something else entirely.
