Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Wave 1 DLC launches June 18

Nintendo announced today at their E3 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will get its Wave 1 DLC on June 18, followed by Wave 2 in November 2021.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Wave 1 DLC is called Pulse of the Ancients will feature an expanded roster, newly added weapon types, and more. With the second wave of DLC titled Guardian of Remembrance, fans can look forward to newly added stages, expanded roster, and more.

Here’s an overview of the two Wave DLCs coming to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity:

Wave 1: Pulse of the Ancients (June 18, 2021)

The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass kicks off in June with an expanded roster, newly added weapon types, and challenging enemies. Stop by the Royal Ancient Tech Lab to test yourself with new challenges to unlock weapons and new helpful features! Then, dominate the battlefield as the new playable Battle-Tested Guardian or try out the added weapon types—the Flail for Link and Master Cycle for Zelda. These new combat styles will come in handy in the new Apocalyptic difficulty and against added enemies like the bomb-throwing Moblin and a Giant Chuchu.

Wave 2: Guardian of Remembrance (Available November 2021)

This wave of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass will bring new character vignettes, added stages, an expanded roster, and new battle skills for existing characters.
