Sega announced today via a new trailer released by IGN that Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will be coming digitally to PS4 on June 1.
Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Shodown features the same combat as the previous entry in the series. Graphics has been rebuilt using Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Dragon Engine, as well as new background music for each stage. Other features to look forward to are a new opening cinematic, new lighting, and more.
Multiplayer-wise, fans can look forward to a private and public lobby system that supports up to 16 players, and includes a new communication tool like stamps. No word yet if it will be backward compatible with the PS5.
