Rumor: Starfield to Release on Xbox and PC Exclusively

Recently there has been a lot of talk about Bethesda’s latest RPG title Starfield, with the latest suggesting what many fear, it will be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

This news comes from Jeff Grubb, writer for Venture Beat and somewhat notable leaker, who claims his sources are telling him Starfield will be exclusive to Microsoft platforms.

This news naturally is met with some criticism. While Jeff has been right in the past, several of his recent predictions, most notably May’s PlayStation Plus titles, were incorrect. As a result, it’s hard to say what will come of this, though given Microsoft purchased Bethesda Softworks, it stands to reason this will come eventually. It just comes down to when or if Microsoft wants to start leveraging these titles as an exclusive.
